Rosita's Background

Ms. Rosita has 18 years of teaching and choreographing experience.  At 15 years old she had her own small dance studio and was teaching out of her basement for three years. She studied and trained 3 years of dance in Europe.

Rosita took more training at Juliana’s Academy of Dance and then joined the teaching staff in 1990.  Ms. Rosita competed for many years and attended many master classes in New York, California, and Michigan. She worked with various dance artists including Paula Abdul, Gus Giordano, and Dee Caspary. She owned and was Director of Artistic Dance Company dance studio for 7 years.

Ms. Rosita received the Jazz Choreography Award in the 1998 Showbiz competition and in the 2002 Rising Star National Dance Competition.

In her teaching methods she stresses proper technique, discipline, and most importantly to gain respect for the art of dance.
